I have been writing poetry, as a means to release my toxic feelings and express things that I have trouble speaking about. It was the suggestion of the mod for my Male-to-Female group that I start writing. Since March 30, 2007, I have just broken the 1700th poem barrier. Am hoping, in the next few months, to reach 1750.

Thank you, Albatross. It has helped to release some very toxic feelings, I have been holding within myself, concerning parts of my past.

It seems like I try to do everything with memory and creativity when I cant. I struggle with writing poems in a notebook or things of that nature. I have no self-motivation but I'm glad that you do. Thankfully ashdawn8287 is helping me with this. I need all the support I can get. Some people think writing poems are just girly things I'm not going to let that stop me from expressing how I feel though. Glad to have read this thread. Thank you.

Thank you, Britt.

CBX, poetry knows no gender boundary. Some of the most memorable poets were men, like Shakespeare, Wordworth and Robert Frost. Please don't be too hard upon yourself. There are so many different poetic styles, one might fit you, CBX. :)

My therapy as well.....poetry! What a gift it is! The 1700th is awesome! Im only at 400plus but it is what has kept me sane
