I got dressed in a tie dyed dress today. All I need is a boa and I am ready to dance! :) thank you @trying2movefwd x

Today I am cutting out paper dolls who are on thicker paper and the little stand they fit on crossways so they can stand. Their outfits on thinner paper need to be cut very carefully so the tabs remain and fold on the doll. This takes lots and lots of patience *nodding very solemnly* *sighs*
It seems I get everything just right and as soon as I let go something falls off.

I lick the tabs this time before folding them on.

There! I got it! Hahaha! Now the next one as I give the first a stern look so it knows it better keep everything on.

After a while I start to get bored and decide to cut my hair. Strands fall on my face and arms sticking making me itch.

I try to call one of my cats over pssptt pssstttpp whispering sweetly here Patches....but as soon as I move Patches takes off.

He played with me before when I had scissors hence the name Patches.

I abandon the scissors and dolls going outside brushing myself off and blowing upwards to get hair off my face. Walking over to a bush I see a caterpiller. I lay my hand very still in front of its path and it wiggles on my hand. I lift my hand as it crawls up my forearm tickling. Before it gets too high I put my hand in its path again, back and forth until I put it back on the bush.

I make mud pies for a while. This is a process since I have to keep squishing the dirt and water to get the mud just right so it will hold shape. Pausing to scratch my face and arms made itchy from the hairs sticking especially to my nose. Now the mud is just right and I make perfect pies. I sit them aside to bake in the sun wiping my hands on my shirt and shorts.

Another kitty shows up and it rubs against me purring. I pet it gently and make purring sounds back. Scratching all the favorite places. Right at the point where it's chin starts to curve, behind the ears and all around its neck. I never try to hurt them on purpose but if I try to hold them like a baby I get scratched sometimes. I have lots of scratches but they still come to me later and neither one of us holds a grudge. I like cats and dogs but not strange dogs. They can bite and then I do hold a grudge but today is too nice to think of such things.

I like paper dolls! I will go get some unused shoe boxes and construction paper make a paper doll house for the paper dolls! Then I will come outside and check on your mudpies for you. They are good and ready. I have a puppy who is great with kitties, he is on the big side, has knocked me over and is licking my face as I giggle and try to get back up. He repeats this. Its really funny. Finally I crawl out from under him. He gets distracted by a tennis ball and we play catch for a little while. Now I am ready for the swing, after the swing I have a surprise for everyone Popsicles!!!! And we can clean our sticks when done and make something out of them. After this I am ready for a hand clapping game just beside the jump ropers. That kitten is very cute and it's so cool that you had a cattipilliar crawling on you @Alice.in.Wonderland

I love popsicles the kind with two sticks that can be shared or not *giggles*
I like cherry and root beer and the white vanilla.
A shoebox house sounds like lots of fun:-) we can get some white glue and make curtains and furniture. Ohhhh I found some glitter that will look pretty.

Comes out of blanket fort wearing a tutu and cape, with a pair of cat ears on (found the dressing up box hehe).

I've got a mermaid doll is there a water play area? I can see if her hair and tail look magical under water. Hold on I need to brush her hair first. Hmm the brushes that come with dolls are so small and hard to use....I think I'll use a real brush....much better. :) I like mermaids :hug: so pretty.

Your mermaid is beautiful. I think I will get some bath toys and have a bubble bath, I'm starting to feel icky with the mud and Popsicle juice and glue with glitter all over me. I'll be back! I'm gonna make sure to put lots and lots of bubbles in the tub so they rise right up to my nose and tickle. I think I'll pretend to be a mermaid and dive under the water and when I come up, I'll scoop up the bubbles and blow them all around. Then we can play and I won't dirty your pretty clothes. Maybe I'll find cat ears too! I would like to be a cat.

Would you like to borrow my mermaid? For the bath. She looks pretty under water and if you use goggles you can see her. you can wash her hair if you like.

I'd like to play on the swings now to see if my cape will flutter like a superhero

Ohhhhh thank you @NoWhereKnowWhere ! I never had a friend when I was little who would share such a beautiful mermaid!

I am back now and I brought my ballerina doll to share with you and your mermaid of course. I thought you might like to play with her since you are wearing a tutu. She has a crown on her head and if you stand her straight on her pointed toe and push down on the crown she will dance turning and turning.
I also found a few etch-o-sketch. I am going to try to write my name!

I love reading about all the fun things you've found to do! I may not be joining in, but I'm thinking of you as I lay back on my carpet of moss, looking up at the sun-dappled forest canopy above. There must be a thousand different shades of green!

I hear shrieks of laughter, and marvel at the joyous abandon with which you play when you know you're safe from your abusers. This is how it's supposed to be... :hug:

Does anyone remember holding hands in a circle and singing:

"Ring around the rosey,
pocket full of posey
ashes, ashes, we all fall down!"

And then promptly doing so, by squatting down and rolling over backwards and letting go of the persons whose hands you were holding?
