I know it's been awhile since anyone posted on here, but I just found this. I'm relieved. I'm dating a combat veteran with PTSD as well as physical damage. He has no issue with intimacy physical or otherwise, though as far as actual intercourse goes, it doesn't happen often. He has both physical and mental issues it seems. This has never bothered me. But it does bother me that he refuses to refer to himself as my boyfriend, or call me his girlfriend. But it seems like this is a relatively common thing. It is clear by the way he treats me and some of the things he says, that he loves me and wants a future with me. Like I said, glad I have run across this. It will help me not to worry about it so much.
