I like the idea of meeting, and by train I'm only 90 minutes from London. - specially with some of that Yorkshire tea brewed good and strong.
And some of Amethists goodies from the Homemade Christams foodies thread in Chit Chat (aven't found out how to link yet)
Especially the ginger log.

Meeting in Birmingham may be an option. A central city with good rail links.

March/April time may be a good time, hopefully the weather will be warmer. Also if people want to PM me with best day of the week, I'm happy to arrange it and set up an event post.

Its nice to meet you. We are thinking of trying to organise a meet up in Birmingham, as its pretty central. Maybe March/April time. If you keep an eye on the events board, it will be put up there.

Sorry folk, I will still do this. I'm not in a good place at the moment and I need to do a 300 mile round trip (driving) to help my daughter who is struggling.

Half term is in Feb, around the 16th I think. So will arrange it before the Easter Hols.

I'm probably closer to you. I'm in North Warrington (used to be Lancashire before Maggie moved the border!). I drive up to Silverdale regularly and have a Son in Uni in Ormskirk so you are not too far away.
