Though maybe applicable only to myself, I've been recently diagnosed as suffering from Schizoid Personality Disorder. At the very least the diagnosis affords me material to mull online - especially materials that relate to cause. Understand that Schizophrenia and SPD are not the same thing, whereas happily many definitions and verbal treatments of such afford tacit acceptance to the possibility that the larger culture just may not be able to tolerate or understand strict difference manisfest such. I invite all here to skim about on the Internet to see what is said for the quality of what I've reviewed seems pretty good.
Oh - and another passing thing. A film titled Into the Wild tracks the decision making process and adventures of a loner who vanishes into the wilderness of Alaska. The picture finishes on a down note for the skill set and equipment available to the adventurer really isn't equal to the challenge he sets up for himself, while also keep in mind the old Robert Redford film Jeremiah Johnson from '72 I do believe.
