Hello,
I was diagnosed 8 years ago at age 50. All of my life has been a struggle and thanks to good Therapy I am making progress. My extreme abuse and neglect, as the therapist calls it, and multiple bug T and smaller t trauma's began prior to Kindergarten. Doing the hard work to heal is worth ot and I know that this will be a life long journey especially considering my later age of awareness and diagnosis. I live in Ga, have adult sons and a four legged daughter who assists me on a daily basis. My brain has used dissociation to handle overwhelm and body memory is especially uncomfortable and troublesome.
I wish you all the best on your healing journey and look forward to learning, supporting and being supported on this forum.
