I think Friday my daughter will bring me my dogs. This has me a bit excited. Something to look forward too. I must protect myself maybe with chairs so that they won't jump.

(((NH))), I wouldn't worry too much. My darling Mad Max is an utter lunatic and yet when I came out of hospital after my accident, he was so very gentle. He knew I was hurting and fragile and was so gentle, he brought tears to my eyes.

Dogs know when you are in need of TLC.

One of my concerns is that I continue to run a low grade fever. Not to be gross but my bowel has not worked in over a week. Kind of wondering if they go hand in hand.

Really not feeling well tonight.

I do not know. But I think it is normal with the bowel. Take some stool softeners. And call your doc on the low grade fever. You have to take good care of you. I am glad you have access to your computer. I am glad you will get your dogs back. Sounds like a little bit of your life is going back to normal. I am glad you have your surgery behind you now. What a relief. Big hugs.

(((NH))) talk to the doc or the nurses about this bowel problem, oufff 1 week, that is a little long. You might be right that the low fever and bowels are related. Drink as much water as you can.

Glad to hear you may have your dogs for a visit.

I have been miserable with major crying spells just wishing for it to all be over. I just want to stay asleep. Not sure I have the ability to handle the challenge today.:coldfeet:

Rest as much as you can, especially if you have a fever (you might need some antibiotics). Let the tears flow, get them out of your system and then acknowledge your strength.
