I've only had 4 sexual relationships

The classmate who assaulted me at the age of 13 and then allowed (thru coercerstion) it to happen again because I was afraid to say no, then a sibling because I was afraid to say no again.

I noticed that you are lumping assaults and rape with 'sexual relationships'. I always found the word 'intimacy' as being a healthy word and sex as being a thing that healthy adults do. I don't really see rape as a 'relationship' with someone as it is not mutual.

Have you talked with a therapist about your thinking style?

I agree with you Albatross, Ayesha had a good point.

I don't think of assault or rape as relationships either. I used the wrong word. My thoughts are kind of jumbled and can sometimes take me 10 mins to find the right words and/or remember what I was trying to say. I sometimes (like the post above) can't think of a more appropriate word.

I was just trying to explain the reasons why my view of sex is the way it is. I'm between therapists. I'm currently looking for one that has experience with PTSD. I will bring up my views and thinking to my therapist when I get one
