Life Is Looking Up!

I haven't been around for a while because life has been hectic. I got accepted for disability in February and immediately started making plans to move from Alabama to Colorado. I have a friend that I will roommate with to make finances a little easier. I am so looking forward to the move in 57 days! Its a new start for me. I didn't want to come home when I went out for a visit in January. This time I won't have too.

This part is kind of bittersweet- I finally found an neurologist who doesnt believe all my issues are caused from my PTSD. He diagnosed me with Chiari Malformation type 1 that showed up on my MRI over a year ago. So he is trying to stabilize my symptoms. I am looking at having a possible shunt put in before the move.

Just wanted to check in and share that sometimes life does go our way :).
