Today my therapist told me he attended a conference last Friday on complex PTSD and EMDR. He said he thought of me a lot during it because I don't fit the usual mode therapists use to form a treatment plan and send the client on their way. With CPTSD all those guidelines go out the window. He told me my dissociation is so pervasive that he observes at times I go in and out constantly, so much so that he can't keep up with me and has to just keep telling himself "first, do no harm" I sometimes wake up in other parts of the house with no recollection of waking up. I show up to work on the wrong day/time. Fortunately, I work alone and no one cathes me.
