Marijuana Really Helps Me

I just realized that I can not "talk",so to speak.

I do smoke hookah ( a form of very strong tobacco) sometimes. And I do take medication for chemical imbalances.

So whatever floats your boat. I don't judge you for it, just worry a little.

Ever watch Reefer Madness? LOL

I used to be the poster child for Reefer Madness! Dark circles under my eyes, uncontrollable twitches...It was great! Then I found Thorazine and knew that this was the drug to put me on the straight and narrow of wholesome goodness! Why even my manners and ettiquette improved! HAAA!!!

(just where is that sarcasm font when you need it????)

I don't know...I hate to be...but I see it as relaying on something. Using something to make you feel better. But I guess most drugs ( Rx drugs) do that.

Isn't it bad to depend on something?

The only thing a person should depend on is themself. However, there is nothing wrong with using a crutch when your foot is broken. Nor is there anything wrong with using medication or herbs to help alleviate symptoms while you work through issues.

It should not become a permanant lifestyle, whether it is smoking daily or whether it is taking your antidepressents or mood stabilizers daily, for the rest of your life. Drugs get you through the rough patches, but ultimately, you'll never get better if you don't put effort into getting better.

I'd also like to add, that just because a person smokes weed, it does not make them an addict. Just like, not every person who drinks alcohol is an alcoholic or a wife beater. Some people can enjoy a beer with their pizza or a glass of wine with their spouse.

It just so happens that this herb has tons of medicinal value. TONS. Way more than any prescription drug you'll ever see on the market.

I've known people who said they felt weird all their life until they smoked pot, and then for the first time they felt normal. I've heard that there are receptors built into the brain that are for THC specifically....makes me think.

If someone needed blood pressure meds for the rest of their life to be healthy nobody would bat an eye.....

I agree, and it bothers me when someone uses an argument to the effect of: I had a friend who started smoking weed to get them through their depression, but they got hooked. They never wanted to go out or do anything, etc.

Last time I checked, drugs don't ruin lives...abusing drugs ruins lives. Some people don't understand the concept of responsible use verses abuse.
