its been quite a rough few weeks here.. lots been going on as im sure u will know if u have read through my posts.
On top of a shooting, and an earthquake, i have ben having issues with my hand/elbw.
I saw a dr about a week ago and was diagnosed with cubital tunnel.
I am a music teacher, so this isnt really good news. Right ow I have lost feeling in the palm of my left hand, and pinky and ring finger.
At the moment I have t keep it wrapped, take naproxen and ice it...and go back in a couple of weeks to see if its better, and if its not I have to talk to a surgeon
Im not feeling very hopeful right now, as its been getting worse, and to the point where I cannot perss keys down with this hand at the piano (im a piano teacher)
Everything is going through my mind.. about surgery. Im really scared, I dont like mediacl procedures, I like to be incontrol totally.
I hate the idea of having my arm strapped down while they do surgery and the possiblity of having a general anestheitc... hopefully I can be awake during it if I need it, Im totally afraid of not waking up and having a tube in my throat, or waking up with one in my throat..
If I can be awake, Ill be much happier if I need it.
