Raves are about Ecstasy. Not MDMA. The two are VERY different animals. Ecstasy has a great potential to screw one up farther if they have PTSD. Please don't confuse the two.Theres always a rave in my head.
Side effects were, for me:I wonder about side effects of treatment and whether it lasts or must be continued every now and then?
1. Clenching jaw and grinding teeth
2. Need to drink water
Along with that came:
1. The ability to sleep.
2. Dramatic changes (positive) in dealing with somatics that come with trauma.
3. Processing for quite some time after the dosage.
4. The ability to process emotions that are normally unreachable without dosing.
5. The ability to work on core belief systems that are no longer serving in a positive way.
I have not continued with this form of treatment for years. I am still integrating critical information that was provided to me during these sessions. I don't believe I would be as well as I am without this form of treatment. Honestly, if it calls to you and you are able to utilize this form of therapy, I would highly recommend it.
Please keep in mind that working with a Therapist who is well versed in MDMA treatment is very important.
