(((Froggie))), I may have been away but you have been in my thoughts everyday. I have been lighting candles and will continue to do so.

I thought that by the time I returned things would have moved forward. Geez, when I read you are still waiting I was so angry, I wanted to throw something, tell these doctors to get their fingers out of their bums and do something. I kept thinking cancer is best caught early and then these w*****s are dragging their heels - Aaaaarrrrgh :mad::mad:.

My poor love, I can't imagine how hard this is for you. Take comfort that you are loved by people all around the world. The power of positive thinking and prayer is immense.

I love this verse so I did a little research. The phrase 'they will soar is' often translated as 'they shall rise up on wings as eagles' That puzzled me. I found an article in Smithsonian Mag, I think, That talked about eagles migrating from Turkey over the long valley that goes over the Golan Heights and down the Sinai.

At the time this psalm was written, it has been suggested that people could see many columns of eagles rising up on the thermal currents as they migrated great distances. None of them had to beat their wings as the warm air lifted them. When the air got cooler at the top of the column that a particular eagle is in, he/she would use their great vision to find the nearest column and would just glide to the bottom of the next column. They did this for hundreds of miles year after year, decade after decade.

I hate to think that the medical profession - those who are supposed to care for and treat you - are messing you around. If we could, I'm sure most of us here would come over to yours and just hug you better. :D Because we can't we will all do it from here!!

The healing frog has struck again......

Didn't go online last night as I had tons of calls to do to give the results to my kids, family and friends.

Results from cat scan : the metastases are still there, stable no change = my body and mind are strong enough to keep them under control. But they found some ganglions that are affected, so here what's waiting for me :
1) MAYBE Montreal will accept me even with some ganglions affected;
2) MAYBE Montreal will ask that I go through a few series of chemio then I will have the operations;
3) MAYBE Montreal will refuse my candidacy ...

So :
Plan B) Quebec will get a sample of my tumor to get it tested to see if the gene has not mutated for a certain chimo (about 10 day wait)
Plan C) If the gene has mutated, then it will be another type of treatment

Soooo guess who is waiting ... again .... I should have started some knitting projects !

So sorry you are having to wait and go through all this Froggie. Knitting is a good therapy so not a bad idea. It's all those Maybe's, the not knowing. I truly feel for you sweetie.
