Me And My Cancer Adventure

((((((Froggie))))))

I sure do miss you. I wish you many pain free days.

So glad you had some good days with your family. I am here to support you. Hugs and prayers.

Froggie, your talk on here reminds me so much of when my husband was going through his cancer treatment and how he had to be careful not to get any infections after it. His white cell count is still on the low end 8 years or so after his treatment, but, as long as they don't dip further, he is in good shape.

Reading this truly makes my heart go out to you. I am so sorry that you are going through this. Hugs and hand holding are always here if you need them.

With my friends dying of cancer, this has been like an open wound for PTSD to «infect» it.

So true. So many of our issues show up during hospital care; having to hold still, enduring pain, being surrounded by strangers whom you can't quite understand at times chemo brain, feeling weak and defenseless. Thank heavens you can recognize what's coming from PTSD most of the time.

But it's him that's going to affect me the most as it is the same cancer as me.

Oh, Froggie. How sad. To make a deep connection with someone in the same boat is great in the beginning. Recognizing that he may die some day is different than he may die soon, especially as you both have drawn close.

Even though you have the same cancer, the course of the disease can be very different from person to person. I certainly don't want you to suffer longer but it would be nice for you to make some good memories for the people whom you love. On the forum, we are so blessed because we can go back and reread the beauty and caring you have shared.

I think I am going to begin printing it out and make a booklet of your kindness towards me, with your permission. There are so many others you have helped and supported. That Will Not Perish when your turn comes to release yourself from your body.
Much love and gentle hugs, Mercy

I have a lump in my breast that they have decided to mammo again in 3 months before they decide what to do with it, no biopsy done yet, but they did do a sonargram or ultrasound. I've had them before and they have always been beneign, but....

Also, I have been having a swollen lymph node in the groin area and that same leg is a lot thinner than the other. This is on the opposite side of the body as the lump. I have a doctor's appointment in a week for this. I am in quite a bit of pain, trying to get into comfortable positions in which I can rest or read or whatever. Not easy!

Sitting is difficult and so the hours I usually spend here on and off throughout the day are not possible. I feel lonely, whereas when I usually come to these Forums, I feel loved and LIKED a lot.

For those of you who pray, please pray for me, as I am miserable and cranky! THANKS. I LOVE YOU AND MISS YOU ALL.

The mystery is getting to me, what is wrong!?! And of course, I have no answers... I don't know if there is cancer or if it is beneign. The chances of both being nothing to worry about seem slim to me, but in both cases they are said to possibly be cysts, and not cancer. SO... I must wait. I HATE WAITING!!!

Your words have brought great comfort to my heart and soul dear ((((Mercy)))). There is a special link with this friend and his sisters, like we're a soul family who had to be on one another's road of Life. He is like a special mentor who has taught me so much about this final journey on Earth. Yes he has another journey to do, and one day it will it will be my journey too.

I so understand you're anxiety right now, I too hate waiting, like time is ticking away. You are in my thoughts and prayers Dear (((Sheila)))
