I understand your feeling guilty, and you are right it is a bit of the PTSD brain. But please, please, please, try not to pay much attention to the statistics. It is wonderful the doctors are trying to find why the survival rate of your group is longer than the others, but the fact is you are surviving. Keep living in the moment and take each day as a blessing.

Just remember, not only is each day a blessing, but you bless all of here with your presence!

You ((((Deb)))) I know I should not pay that much attention to statistics, but when one survives the pronostics, it's like being an Olympic gold winner. I wake up every morning now and I'M ALIVE and ABLE TO DO THINGS ! I'm still able to care for myself, have a garden and have fun with my grand children. I truly hope the specialists will find what made for us to survive so that they can help other bowel cancer patients.
