You know, the staff were fantastic. One of them took the photos for us and the girl who took our orders was amazing; she remembered who ordered what and never needed to ask.

They didn't seem bothered by all the Malteaser Bunnies hopping around the table either!

I mentioned the summer picnic in York to my daughter. She has been with me when I have met Amethist. Her one word reply. Awesome.

One of the best trips I've ever made. Arrived home last night very tired after the taxi, train, buses, plane, car exercise.

Was fantastic meeting everyone, the weather was beautiful and we had a wonderful time together. I was really surprised how congenial the staff were allowing us to stay so long. I arrived at 11am and left about 4pm. It was great to catch up with each other and put a face to the names.

It was a long trip for many, but the effort was made by this lovely group of people. We all enjoyed each others company the food and atmosphere was perfect. I to would like to thank everyone for a fantastic day and the friendship we all enjoyed. Marvellous.

They weren't name tags Nicolette, but badges that said "Let's Get Together", "England 2012".

I will try and take a photo of one and post it up later.

This is the badge that was made for us all. But I have to apologize to who made them, as I cant remember if it was Cat or Meadowsweet. :oops: Sorry.
