The above comments have filled me with joy! :D

It is funny how you meet people in life, and for those that want to step out of their comfort zone, it can be very rewarding. Just remember to use good judgement, take your time, and stay safe.

So true wise lady! Thanks for sharing.x
My H took a picture of KP and I with the dogs which is specially for Ikon Nikon and I will post it on her thread. I took a couple in KP's area too and will post them on the Photos of Nature thread.

Meeting two people from another forum in Florida and am so excited!! I'm so happy that you got a chance to connect! I love flying and will be flying to Europe twice in the next year!! I would love to meet in person if the location was close to my plane stop overs!
Hugs,
Gloria

I've just had a great day with Crafty Cath. We met at 11am and eventually headed for home at 4.10pm.

We hijacked Starbucks and spent some time drinking tea and coffee and watching the eye candy:eek:. We have talked, laughed and opened gifts. It is Caths birthday on Sunday so I bought her an oil burner as I knew she didn't have one.

We then walked around looking in shop windows and buying the odd chocolate . I'll post more photos on the Kris Kringle across the continents as NH sent us gifts to be opened when we met.

Although tempted we didn't ride on the ride 'Gallopers for your Pleasure', as I told Cath, I'd never get my leg over :hilarious:.

At the end of the day, we were both as you can tell, tired.

And no, we didn't have wine:angelic:.

It was a 120 mile drive round trip and it was dark when I was driving home but it was another wonderful day and I'm both pleased and proud that I did it.

It was a really lovely day and such fun!

I loved the oil burner KP bought me and I feel quite spoilt! (I have it lit now and it smells lovely).

It was so nice to see the Christmas decorations up but there was no flashing Santa this year! :( There was however, as KP said, a bit of eye candy! :devilish::D

I so wanted a picture of KP on the carousel or even on the helter-skelter! :roflmao:

It is so good to meet up with other members from the forum. It is a difficult step at first but it is worth it. Oh, and we both managed the driving. I didn't have as far to go as KP but it was all motorway and very busy. I haven't driven that far on my own for years. So well done us.

Another one of the tired shoppers...

The Christmas tree at Cheshire Oaks that mysteriously changed colour just to try to catch us out. It was red when I took the photo and gold as we were leaving.
