Hey all! I am Kim and I just found this forum and am VERY happy you all are here. I tried to join a couple groups on Facebook but the main one I joined turned into a marketing place for a wife to promote her new book. So, I am searching for a place I can be myself, talk about my issues and lend support to others who are in the same boat as me...

I was active Army for 6 years and spent the entire first year of OIF in theater.

I am in Northern Ohio, a widowed mom to 3 kids and unable to work...hope we can all find alot more about each other!

Welcome to the group comrade! Quick sitrep on what you've missed...

1) There are a whole load of mentals on here with issues around Iraq and Afghanistan. They wheel out a shed load of TLA that we're supposed to know. I don't. Nobody does. They make it up.
2) There are even more random (and quite barking) partners and ex partners who are always dishing out advice. Its like my mother has discovered the internet. Ignore this advice. Nod your head and say "yeah right on"... But ignore it.
3) Aussies. They are here as well. I've no idea what they are talking about. Australia was populated by criminals. Thats basically fact.

Frankly, without me, this whole place would be shit. I'm the only normal one here and I carry the can for the rest of them.
