I have gone back to watching 'Carry on' films at the moment they are always light and entertaining:)
Having to spend time at home at the moment I have tried to find other movies that will inspire and have just ordered peaceful warrior and wondered if anyone had any comments on it. :)
Found a new one for my little. "Matilda". The little girl has a cruel headmistress at her school, and less than ideal parents. However, she has a very good teacher, and she has also develeoped certain skills that help her do things. It is a cute story, and even I liked it.
The other one was "Annie". A little girl in a not so good orphange, who gets to go live with a rich man. Cute and wonderful ending. It's a musical.
Some children's Christmas movies also make my inner child feel very good.
I do like Ice Age but it's not a movie for my inner child. I don't know but I connect with certain movies and when that happens it is really my inner child not me (if that makes sense) who's enjoying the movie. I haven't seen 'Up" yet but there are many animated movies I have seen and they are great. Not for my inner child but also a very good animated movie is 'The Incredibles'. I love it. Maybe it does indeed also touch my inner child. I think the family situation does and the way they treat each other and stick up for one another.
Oh, Matilda! My first boyfriend wanted to have kids and a girl and name her Matilda! She's a strong little girl.
In 1850s England, chimney sweep 12 year oldTom is blamed for a crime he didn't commit. A rich girl named Ellie knows the truth and tries to help Tom, to no avail. When he attempts to escape, he falls into Dead Man's Pool, and everyone's convinced he's a goner. Instead, he's underwater in the world of the Water Babies, where he asks the powerful Cracken for help clearing his name.
I always liked Barney, and Veggie Tales. I felt so safe watching them. :)
Arthur is amazing too. I know people say it's for babies, but I like those shows. I guess Barney, Veggie Tales and Arthur is for my inner child because there's minimal conflict, but it's still good.
