I watched that video and it was very helpful! So thank you! I also have all kinds of transference, including erotic, toward my t.

That video specifically mentions if the client was sexualized how that can twist up love and sex. How she desperately wants real intimacy rather than “this distorted re-enacted connection”.

This fit me to a T. Sexualization by my dad from day one of my life. The sexual abuse happened when I was pre- verbal. So I should not be ashamed that I am having these feelings because they would be expected based on who my dad is and my childhood experiences. If I make that connection it gives me a pivot around the weight of erotic transference.

Toward the end the man with the beard says that if erotic transference can be worked through it can be very productive.

We can do it! We can be honest and still be okay!
