Hi I'm Emma,
I suffer with borderline personality disorder and PTSD ever since I was first sexually assulted 3 years ago but was confirmed that this is my diagnosis after a rape last year.
I'm really hoping for some support because I've started sexual abuse counselling and it's dragging up a lot of issues for me.

Hi Emma,

It's a nice place to be, and hope you'll stay for as long as you like. It's amazingly well set-up for a ton of PTSD associated reasons, you'll see. All you'll notice, though, as a sufferer is that it's a safe place with an awful lot of lovely people and a huge amount of information. I have a terrible time maintaining social interactions because of the PTSD, yet have been able to come here for several months now. :) That doesn't seem very long but believe me- it is!

I do not have PTSD but I do have DID otherwise know as Multiple Personality Disorder so have a little understanding of the other part of what you are suffering.
I am new here to and hope that you will find the help and support that you need.

Secondly, welcome to the forum!
You will most definitely find a lot of support here. There are many of us who have been through very similar experiences. There is also a lot of information on the forum.
I hope that when you're ready, you can share your story with us because many of us would love to listen.
