I hope that you have a great time @Brokenhalo and will be thinking of you both and sending you warm thoughts. I know that my SO gives me the sense of outer calm that I don't feel inside. For that I am eternally grateful. It sounds to me like you have that in you as well.

@shimmerz, Thank you so much! He is very calm with me and me with him as well. We are both able to relax when we are together and the silliness between us is similar to a comedy act lol. That's why I suggested a weekend getaway to somewhere in the woods where we can enjoy nature and just be together. Still choosing a weekend to go. It's going to be my bday gift to him. Purple at work say I glow after we've had time together, and I do. :hug:...so.does he lol

Laughter is such an important thing in healing @Brokenhalo . I know my SO has done so much for me to just bring laughter into my life again. Everything seemed so serious. Like Heath Ledger as the joker saying 'why so serious?'. Laughter is a cure all for me at least. I am sure you will both have a fantastic time and it is so helpful to those of us who suffer from PTSD to have a light connection. Have a great time! Blessings be.
