Any one else have more increased ni ghtmares/ sleepless nights after therapy? Iv had 3 sessions now and sleep has near enough been unsettled ever since. If anyone has experience this did it gradually settle?

Can't say I've had the nightmares, but I could easily see why. For me, now that we are getting to the core of things, I tend to have worse days after therapy than on non-therapy days.

@bright future28 sometimes the nightmares increase and I wake up all sweaty but it is part of the processing. The brain and the body keep processing material during sleep. One time I had a really happy dream, the whole world fell into pieces and I was trapped under the rocks and then my younger self came and unburied me from the rocks and the world was really beautiful and I felt really happy.

You can talk to your therapists and let him/her know about the sleep issues if it is causing serious sleep disturbance and it does not change in the next few weeks. I also started with 20mg Prozac about 2 months ago and it helps me with the anxiety and sleeping while I am going through therapy.

Therapy really brightens my day up. It's like taking a shower and getting all the muck off. I think when I first started I was having really bad dreams, and I'm having some recently, but the frequency has gone way, way down. I believe it's gone from every night to every few nights with the severe nightmares.
