Novel Almost Finished

I just want to share this, I started writing a novel about a man recovering from rape and starting a healthy relationship. It's a bit more complicated than that of course but that's how it starts. All happy endings. Anyway, a few months ago I told myself enough is enough and I gave myself till the middle of February to finish my rewrite which included writing the last three chapters as I didn't write those in the first draft. Today my writing is just going so well that I know that I'm going to make that deadline and finally finish this novel.

Yay! Sounds great Frog. It must feel good to meet that goal you set for yourself. It's a good topic - I was going to say unusual, but then thought of The Kite Runner, have you read that?

Wow, I am in awe of this accomplishment. This sounds like it is doing amazing things inside of you to create this. I hope I can do this someday. It's nice to see someone making that creative endeavor and bringing something new to life. Thank you for sharing this accomplishment! :)

Cool! I've been writing a book for four years. I know I can do it, but it has some difficult topics which I'm avoiding.
So maybe I'll finish in ten years or so. ;)

Serious congratulations. You know what you get to do now? You get to call yourself a novelist. Lots of people walk the walk, call themselves writers, "I have such great ideas for books," etc., but until you actually go and DO it, it's all talk.

You did it. You're a novelist. So seriously, truly, deeply... congratulations!!!

PS, there is a common saying among English academics that everyone has six exclamation marks to spend in their lifetimes. I just gave you three, because you so totally deserve 'em. :P

Guys, seriously thanks for your support I know that it's going to help me through writing these last few chapters. @sun seeker , nope not read that one thought it has been on my reading list forever. @Nam , I am going to look at getting it published. I actually have another novel half finished that I plan to going back to now. @Simply Simon
