Please accept my apologies as I mean not to upset anyone with my humor or imiagination, I just wish to brighten up a rather sombre Forum this evening as we have a lot of new members who have never been privy to silly chat. Just like the good old days.

I believe that inside every victim of any trauma is a little voice representing us at our most imaginative, when we were that age we were able to lose ourselves into that imagination as a safety net mechanism for survival. All we do when we have these silly Chatanigans is let that little voice be heard in a safe environment, Where we all understand each other. and can be here to help each other through all kinds of therapy techniques better understand and better cope with our day to day symptoms.

One thing I have learnt in Life is this, Laughter and I mean proper Laughter can be so Soul uplifting. and Healing as well.

Give Humor a try and see just how taking half an hour out can really lift the tired inner spirit. Waken the Inner Child.

Funniest Spliff Moment was in 1989 when I was in fact just laying on a random grass bank, stoned out of my head on Cannabis Resin, To be Approached by two looming figures all dressed in Black Clothing, Spooked the Fuk out of me..... oh they were Police Officers who did not like the fact I was smoking a spliff on THEIR station bank,

Told off and to oy, Clear the fook orfe now or I will nick ya buddy, not arrested for the fact I was in fact smoking Illegal Cannabis at the time, Too much Paperwork involved back in those days, hey ho, I bimbled off down the road, with two very cross Pc's Scowling at my Audacity at sitting on the station Grass Bank

This thread is no longer active as it was deemed not best placed this evening, and after caerful consideration I agree with the member who pointed this out to me.

I started this thread in remembering our own @anthony wanting chat to remain as a safe place for members, especially new members to come to just interact, That was why I started the Silly Chat loggs many many months ago, I got out of control a few months ago and they got weirder and weirder, I have taken several months off and reevaluated my own therapy and come on leaps and bounds in a very short space of time.

I am happy to host silly chat events if that is what members wish, or if the consensus of members voted not to have these sessions of safe grounding and a chilled giggle I will respect that decision and not re instigate them.

I would only say in defence of these one off evenings of giggles is this, They really do work, they take an open mind to fully undertstand, are not meant to upset anyone or disrespect anyone in the chat room, We all chose who we interact with and what threads we read, If the topic in chat is not of my liking the I simply leave chat for a short while and pop back when the topic has finished.

If members would like these sessions to continue please let me know on the thread and likewise if members feel that they are innappropriate then again please let me know. This is not meant to offend or upset anyone, I just feel that a show of hands yes or no would be really helpful in this for me.
