I'm wondering, where exactly is our culture headed, and what is going to be the fall-out, of the North American "dream" of everyone over 14 years of age dressing in an increasingly provocative fashion. And I use "provocative" almost in a passe sense, since it is so prevelant now that it really isn't.
The only thing that I can think is going to come of it, is making young men feel that "the candy is being offered for free, so just take it" and the accompanying emotional damage to the young women who become the targets of that kind of thinking.
At some point in the next 20 years, every block is going to need a skilled shrink, because upward of 70% of the population is going to be in therapy either as an addict or a victim. I can't enjoy online porn anymore (I freely admit I was a junky for it about 8 years ago) because I can't help but wonder how these young women are going to feel about making the choices they have because of the social "OK" stamp that seems to be luring ones that normally would never venture into this area. Is it going to be just like the 60s love-in (not so bad), our is it going to be a cultural meltdown of epic of proportions? That's not even scratching the obvious that it's a pitri dish for rampant abuse of every sort.
It used to be such a small segment of the population involved in "the industry" but it has now become mainstream. A powerful enabler for all of the above.
I don't know man, I'm just saying...
