I don't think I have been in this sub-forum before... So glad I just did. What lovely photos you have all shared - regardless of experience they all hold something special and unique.

I used to take photos regularly; mostly of all the beautiful little things that crossed my path or that I found when out and about - and my pets of course. In the last year or so I have taken out the camera less and less often - and then mostly only to document something.

This thread has just re-awakened a longing to spare a second thought for the small wonders in my world - and to maybe start taking some photos again.

@knuckles Such a beautiful pic! Reminds me of my precious hound and how much comfort she gave me. Its a lovely thread I agree. Its started me thinking about using a real camera and not just a mobile...

This is from back in May of this year. I woke to find a mama bear and her 3 babies visiting. The year before that, the bear you see in my avatar pic visited our corn patch by tearing down the garden fence to let us know it was ripe and ready. lol

It blew mine too, @bellbird , especially the morning I walked out of the back door and whoomp!, there it was. lol Not sure which one of us was more freaked out. Hahaha!

I call our yard and the adjoining field and forest my "hippie tv", as it's often much more entertaining than anything I could tune into on the television. Bears, deer, foxes, coyote, wild turkeys, vultures, groundhogs, opossums, hawks, so many feathered friends, squirrels, etc., etc.
