It's hard to digest that adults could be so cruel to an innocent child Mercy. I can't even imagine what you went through.

Sweet Nicolette, Your response tells me that something was very wrong with what went on. Frankly, It had become so normal by then that I still can't quite get it that it was wrong. It was simply expected.

They didn't need threats to habituate me anymore. I knew all the silence messages starting with my favorite barn cat and me in a fruit crate.(In the beginning of my diary)
