I have an anti-opioid shot thing like a "epi-pen" sort or but not a pen. The shot kills all opioids very quickly in the case of an overdose and in my case long enough to get to an ER and call my pain dr to stop the internal pain pump then adjust it down. Its called Evizo (expensive but I got the $0 copay...and the one they show is the tester with no meds that the dr uses to show you how to use it, the real one has no white on it) and in the box you get the one tester and then two with meds in it. I keep one in my purse and one at home. So they would last forever.

Im sure they make other opioid blockers, this is the only one i know about though as im prescribed it. I dont think a non-doctor or a non-prescribed person could get their hands on it, it had to be sent to the manufactor, had to go through a ton of f*ck ups to get it (they said they called me and i said i couldnt afford it, they didnt and i never said that and it was $0 anyway, and then they said they were told i was on medicaid and they dont take medicaid...im on group health insurence through a very well known insurence company as my Dr sent them that info) but anyway, after some headaches they finally called and mailed it to me but they have to have the order from the Dr, reverify with the dr as to why i need it (or in my case the Dr wants me to have it as im a "high risk patient" now) and then call me and actually physically talk with me about it and what its for and blah blah blah.

But whom knows, maybe its sold on the street in case of an overdose? Ive never heard of that (and didnt even know there was such a thing until prescribed it) but maybe. Im an "at risk patient" due to how much opioids and now two other meds going through my interneral pain pump (more known as a morphine pump but any liquid meds can but put in it and individually controled) and it seems like one device can only be used once so though i dont think i will ever need it but its nice to have it.

So maybe its that med thats in it or something thats sold black market maybe? Hell, Michael Jackson got that drug that puts people out for surgery so what celebs can get their hands on is mind boggling. Its sad, what lots of money can do to a person. Well lets of money and fame. Just sad as i didnt want it tk be an overdose but its looking more that way, an opioid overdose. So sad! :(

Oh, to add to what i wrote above, if i have an accidental overdose to the point of needing the Evzio shot, im down and out, someone else would need to give it to me so i had to show my dad & step mom, my supervisor and a few co-worker how to use it with the tester and where its at in my purse. Its why you are given a tester.

I may lock it up in my desk and have one my my purse as my purse is home when i am and that way people at work dont have to go through my purse to find it.

But someone else would have to administer it.

Fentyal. If used as prescribed (as I was prescribed the patches) it helps pain so well. Until my internal pain pump, they were the only reason I could walk. But if you suck on the patches (or the lolipops) and use too many, there you go, a fast opioid OD. I didnt even know you could suck on the patches until my ex roommates whom were herion addicts moved in and even with that knowledge I never tried it. But my point being, you dont have to abuse it to get the pain relief, they are wonderful for pain relief without abusing it and if you arent on enough mcg, tell the dr until you get to the level that helps the pain more.

My dad & step mom are walking around the house excusing it due to pain. No, I cant walk without pain meds, I was on Fentyal until my morphine pump recently got to a level where i could be taken off of it, and i never ever had to abuse it or in any way take more than prescribed (75 mcg before tiering down) for the pain relief. Along with break through meds they both worked wonderful for the pain and never made me feel high. He was after the opioid high and did too much. It saddens me as everyone said he wasnt a drug type of person.
