We were dancing and I was in a rare confident "I'm the bomb" mood, plus I had just the right amount of drink in me to not give a f*ck about anyone. This song came on and I rocked it. Dancing and lip syncing the lyrics to him and doing a perfect turn at "Hey, check it all out". He was drooling, and I turned the charisma up to overdrive. We didn't get together that night but we both knew we were going to.

Aww, that made me wanna cry! And you gotta love liquid courage huh?

Regarding the cause of death, etc. Really? He was always lean, always know to be clean. Mawkish crap waiting on autopsy results. Flu kills people.

His sister says he had no will. Such a shame as he could've designated that a lot of his assets go to charity. I guess the government gets a larger chunk now?

@The Albatross the toxicollogy is still out and i know we think celebrity = drugs but if percocet is all they found (all i heard was reported to be found) then i doubt that touched his pain; if he took it as in the 2nd link @hodge posted, Shlelia said he wohldnt even take an asprin and everyone, including my therapist that grew up in the same town as Prince and knew him (not like good friends or anything) in his early years of getting started, said he wasnt a "drug person" so it would suprise me a bit of it was an OD.

He was a small person so his body may not have had reserves to fight off the flu especially if he was medically compromised in other ways.

It's why I tell my mom to gain some weight. She's lost weight and overly obsessed with those dumb weight charts but I can't just say hey mom, you have a bit of extra skin so the charts aren't exactly accurate for you. I worry if she gets sick and drops too much weight it could be too much stress on her body. She still sees herself as a heavier person. The lady in VS the other day had to point out that her true size is smaller than what she believes it to be.

If he died of the flu, thats gonna make me see the flu way differently as in like recent 50 yrs or more ive never heard of people dying of something like the flu.

Not saying its not possible, just saying that ive never heard of it beyond the times like early 1900s ish.

Unfortunately flu deaths happen every year. I forgot my flu shot this year but I'm going to make sure I get it next year, and make my parents get it too. I fear my dad is on the verge of COPD as he grew up in a smoking household and has breathing issues. I don't want him to get sick!------the family member of mine who died of the flue had COPD, too.
