Lol, Eve! Now I just saw on MCNBC that we won't get autopsy results for weeks. It's always like the next day on cop shows. Even on true crime shows. So, what the heck? I don't know. My husband and stepdaughter both said they heard today there was some possibility of a heroin overdose. Damn, I hope not. He was too gifted to waste his life like that. Though I do wonder sometimes about him. When you listen to the lyrics of When Doves Cry it sounds like he did not have the best parents. If that was autobiographical. Which it may not be. My hubby has written tons of song lyrics (which have been published and recorded) and not many of them are autobiographical. I just really hope it didn't involve drugs.

Just heard that there are no signs of trauma or suicide, but it will still take days or weeks to get autopsy results.

According to the Star Tribune, the medical examiner is taking his time with tests, though he completed the autopsy yesterday afternoon. The Carver County sheriff said they will respect his privacy but will also let the public know how he died. He said they would rather do things right than do them fast. He also said his officers carry an opiate antidote but it was not used. Prince was alone in his complex in that elevator when he died and was dead when officers arrived. So sad. One of the many bridges in the Cities was lit up in purple last night as a tribute. And the local florist is having a run on purple flowers as people are creating a memorial along his fence.

Well basically an undetectable twizzle hiding in heart like harmartomous tissue over the pacemaker (sinoartrial node) a new bundle branch block or other stuff that won't show up on test..or will with special but rarely performed tests (without an indication ) like SAECG ..signal averaged EKG which will resolve late QRS after potentials (don't ask lol)
This anatomic substrate could then be triggered into an arrhythmia by drugs, excerise, dehydration etc...

The name of that phenomenon is sudden death but for clarity I wrote sudden cardiac death, both valid names

Edit bundle branch blocks are easily seen on EKG but old ones..ie ones pressent on initial EKGs but also on subsequent EKGs at say yearly intervals are generally harmless but not always...
