Snack,

We have an informal rule around here where if we post something that might be a trigger, we put a warning on it so the other members know. Not busting your chops or anything, just some advice.

So editing or deleting a post isn't an option...? Just how i like it! If my T.V. had any buttons or a remote control id return that bitch to best buy in a second.

Guess we get to wait for admins. Seems legit.

@Snackbeard11c

you have a time frame of about 15 min or so I believe to edit a post.

Option to edit is at the bottom of your post after you hit "Post Reply"

But as Sarg stated, it is nice if post`s that contain anything that might trigger are marked so, but knowing what will and what will not is not easy.

I for my part will usualy make a Trigger warning with anything that has Military Violence of any type.

It`s more of a feeling game, once you get to know the site and members you will feel what needs it and what doesn`t..

Here is a screen shot of the post above just after I had hit "Post Reply"

But like I said, there is a time frame for you to use it, after that it disapears.

Yeah, it was there last night when i originally edited the text out of my post. Unfortunately there is no 're-edit' option. i've reported the post so it should only be a matter of time.

Na, you should be OK, Anthony will probably leave it in, and as Sarg commented, plus the name of the Media, most guys here should be able to guess what is on it.

Don`t worry about it, just tick the box as lesson learned ;)

What Sarg was getting at is that some times you don`t know, or it isn`t obvious what is in the post and when you open it "Whamee" thats it, shit next couple of days, Just gives everybody a heads up, and then it`s down to them if the look or not.

My whole perspective on this changed some months ago, when I was under cyber attack again and got redirected to some dumb-assed website that had little movies all over the screen. I panned the movies and my eyes rested on one of a guy with a revolver point blank to a woman;s head. I won't go any further but it screwed up my mind for weeks.

Brass tacks, that shit harms certain people. I don't understand how that stuff isn't outlawed. We censor photos and movies of our warriors arrival home in flag draped coffins, but we allow shit like what I saw.

So yes, I'm sensitive to it. I've got a reason.

My list of music is a bit different I think. I played a rock, jazz, and acoustic music band for years and quit to just enjoy my classical training. The best of all the pieces:

Bach Chaconne, Bach 2nd Partita in Dm Bach Best players John Williams, Julian Bream.
Leyenda - Albeniz Andres Segovia, John Williams
Sheep May Safely Graze Bach Christopher Parkening ("Parkening Plays Bach")

Classical music in general:
Handel's WaterMusik
Alegri Misere by The Tallis Scholars --
This piece would not be known to us in the 21st century had it not been for a genius of a 14 year old by the name of Wolfgang Mozart. He went to Rome with his father and he heard it once at the catholic church there and committed it to memory. He went home, took some notes, went back and had the song put to written music. Later he gave it to another scholar who published it. Mozart could have been excommunicated for his action Ithe piece could only be heard by higher clerics in Rome) but the Pope at the time thanked him for his genius.

There are many more. The beast seems to go away when I hear these songs. For a while anyway.
