Question for sufferers...

Best case, if I was involved with someone who had anxiety issues, I'd WANT to know how my behavior affected them. Probably not when it seemed like the rest of the world was falling apart, but I'd WANT to be able to talk about this stuff when the stress level is low.

Well, I had just gotten off my meds when we started seeing each other, so I think he might be under the impression that I have my anxiety under control. And really, at that time it was.

I also have chronic pain problems that have been mostly under control for the past few months, but have flared up in the last week or two. This increase in pain really causes a dramatic increase in my anxiety levels, sometimes it borders on breakdown, depending on the pain level and if I can get it under control fairly quickly. Since I haven't seen or had any kind of real contact with him in a couple weeks now, he wouldn't have any idea about my anxiety coming back.

Can you explain to me why, when isolating, a sufferer might answer one text message (something simple, that would require a yes or no answer) but would completely ignore other yes or no answer texts?

Sure can, I personally answer only what i want to in texts. So if you ask me one question i may answer and the next not.

Whether this is what is happening is anyone's guess. No one can answer this but the person that is doing it.
