My fiancé has combat PTSD so I can definitely relate to what you're going through. Sometimes my fiancé completely shuts me out, but he pretty much always wants to have sex. I used to feel hurt and used. Now I've been trying to put myself in his shoes. The more I read the more I understand. I know that no two people are alike, but many reactions with PTSD are similar. He wouldn't take meds (which I didn't really want him to take) or get counseling. Now he's open to the idea of medicine, which I hope will allow him to be ready for counseling eventually. It's hard because he will only talk to me sometimes and I'm not a therapist so I feel like I make it worse if I say anything. So I try to just listen. If I've learned anything, it's not to talk to him when he's angry or I'm angry. It just makes everything worse. I try to give him space and plant the seed when he's in a good mood. Just let him know you want to help him and work on it together. You'll be there no matter what.
