Royal Wedding

Ok, Australia is part of the Monarchy.
Yes, I did serve with the Royal Australian Corps of Signals. I also served with the Royal Australian Infantry; however, enough is enough.
Basically nearly all the channels are showing the Royal Wedding. Even the football has been delayed.

I like the idea of a Queen or soon to be King as our Monarch, but shit. No Biggest Loser. No Better Homes and Gardens. My favorite shows.

I have to admit........I watched while communicating with my wife via txt.

I had a pretty good laugh at the hats........One woman looked like she was wearing a fish and chips wrapper for a hat.

lol,best bits were the fly past and the fact that they have asked people not to send the gifts but have set up an umbrella charity that donates to a kids charity an animal charity an aids foundation(in honour of his mothers charity work) and COMBAT STRESS....good on them.

I watched some of it on the internet this morning (after the fact). My state was ripped apart by tornadoes 2 days ago so most people are more preoccupied with that & there is not much coverage of the wedding here.

I took child 1 to see peppa pig and have her photograph taken, then we went and fed some ducks. Its not for me. And we actually had a lovely time. No stress, no unhappy thoughts, just a nice lovely time.
