Now, after being in therapy for the past few years, I am so grateful I took that chance and did it.
It really helped my therapist pinpoint what my most urgent psychological needs were. For safety in myself, for learning distress tolerance and self-regulation...the list identified through that has gotten so much better for me.
It was totally worth it!
