Physical sickness is a reoccurring theme for me, suspected to be caused by the stress.
Recently, I have, again, been ill. I get to the point where I am just so sick of being sick all the time!
This time I've been having trouble with my stomach and the doctors haven't been able to work out what's causing the pain. I often have symptoms, mystery illnesses that modern medicine ends up saying, "I don't know what caused it". My answer, my thinking, is usually PTSD.
This time, however, I've been sent for a CT scan on my abdomen to try and determine the cause, as the pain has been really bad.
I'm trying to take the old calm approach I usually have, but I'm starting to freak out that maybe this time they're actually going to find something. It most probably is nothing again, just caused by stress. But there's a tiny voice that keeps worrying, keeps thinking of my three year old son and thinking, what if it's something bad?
I find out the results of the scan tomorrow.
