Oh how I envy you!!! I plan on getting skyrim first chance I get but for now am stuck with my old pc with oblivion and morrowind. I LOVE Morrowind, it's my favorite. I love the player built storylines, races, clothes and places. Bethesda is a genius company for this series. Tamriel is my home away from home! :geek:

City of Whiterun. 2nd picture is of it's keep.

This is top of a mountain, I had to go for part of the main quest. Hard to get up. the trail was called 7,000 steps. They weren't kidding. 3/4th's up me and my horse got attacked by a troll. First time I got down to fight it and my horse spooked and run the other way ( horses usually fight with you, so this was surprising.) I reload the game, not really wanting to have to run after my horse. I just rode past the troll hoping the horse could out run it and the troll would give up. It worked!

H bought this for our gaming console. Son and daughter are addicted! But, spring break is over... and this will be my distraction for a few days while they're in school. :sneaky::whistling: Kids and I will have much to discuss once I understand their fascination! :D Sorry I won't be able to screen capture and post... I have chosen to be a Wood Elf, and here's hoping that I can get the animals to help me when I need them! :roflmao:

The geek in me wanted to check it out. I was into 2nd Life for a while (quite a while back) but since I don't know how to write script, I was limited in what I could do. I did make a little money participating in polls where you enter a room that looks like a class or a lab, and they had you perform certain tests. At the end they would pay you.

It was kinda cool. There was also some talk about college classes being put on 2nd Life, but it didn't come to fruition for the colleges around my rural area. There was a 2nd Life 'set' for the college I was attending, and a few departments did do a few other things -- mainly the anthropology and science departments. There just wasn't enough interest, because many people around here are still new to computers, and had a hard time navigating.

My 2, personal, rules for playing Skyrim: :cautious:

1. Save Early! Save Often!
2. Don't play while the kids are home! (The magik in this game bewitches my tongue into spewing forth inappropriate language at the top of my lungs! :mad::roflmao:)

I've got about 6 more weeks to play while they're at school. :p

I'm quite proud that the kids don't seem to have this problem. :D Shall I blame it on PTSD? Saving often, has decreased my outbursts to...eh... somewhat manageable levels. I'll get a grip before summertime! ;)

I LOVE the random dragons in the game, I find them fun and very very cool to kill.

LOL, H just bought the enormous handbook for this game. The whole family is absorbing it. I just found out that if I just focus on the main quest, then I'll attract more dragons throughout the game! The further along the main quest... the more dragons attack! So, I'm going to focus on the smaller quests and stuff to build my character up.

I'm only a level 4 right now. :p My main problem with the game, is that the X button doesn't Shoot OR Jump! :o Seriously! That's what the X button is for, right? (God, I'm old... ) :roflmao:

I don't like how the weapons and magic works. It oblivion it was much easier to use. It took me forever to learn how to use magic and then I can't seen to keep it 'on' for very long, I have to go back into the menu and click on it again.
