I am rather rigid with myself about what "is". How I feel about it is my business... my job... it's part of how I cope.

Understand, it ain't you... It's just my way. Life isn't easy... there are any number of degrees of separation that people put on to life events... I know that. I'm well traveled here in the states, rational mind kicks in and it serves me... though I don't buy it "entirely" if you get what I mean. ??? I am not there, nor was our family in Dallas/Fort Worth. I was not in Orlando, David was. I was not on the planes that hit the tower or went down in PA, my cousin and aunt's associations were. I was not in ... ad infinitum... I've just been there, lived there, know people there. If ya get my drift.

I do think though that the locations are sort of racking up and creating a disturbance. A blip, quirk or reflex... it ain't gonna dictate my week, month or year... it ain't even in my top 50 events... it may though affect my next couple days, or a few til the facts come out. We're waiting to here from James in Dallas.

Keeping my shit in perspective is sort of 101.

It's sad that innocent people lost their lives and innocent families lost their loved ones. It's also sad that a legitimate peaceful protest was overshadowed by a vigilante who wanted to push his own agenda. So many people put so much into trying to make change the right way and then one person changed it all. Praying for everyone.

Omg, Stickler, I just read this link you posted from Twitter and I started crying, too. What an absolutely beautiful moment. We all need so many more moments like that with each other, black and white, everyone. We need to focus on how we are all human beings.
