It is difficult, as already experienced, to try and tell a story with pictures this small. We've just been down that route with a few test images, and a dove nesting has been confused for a chicken, and well, any type of bird doing something, other than flying... hence why it failed. I don't see going back to that, because it doesn't work at this size.

Colors could move along the rainbow spectrum if you want to see at a glance how long they've been here.
A very good idea actually... 7 colours in the spectrum, so 7 levels of doves... then hopefully an owl after that. That is a pretty good idea though, as it also helps to narrow the between time for achieving levels. I can bring it down so members go through them quicker, then move onto owls in the upper echelon of post count, as being wiser to how you approach PTSD.

I asked my dad today and he said the head of an owl is possible in the size we need here. I have no idea how to express this in English but he said that is possible to make it easily identifiable as an owl and nice too. He will give it a bit more thought and will send me a first draft. From experience, I am expecting him to send more than one...

I also asked him about other sources online of where to look for such small images that the concept of progressing color etc. would work with and he didn't know of any (more).

If you would like to see his work, I could send you a link in a PC. If you don't want to have a look at drafts, please let me know so I can stop him. Thanks.

Ok, two things now completed.

1. Seven colours of the rainbow, starting at violet through to red now live.
2. Changed the post count between ranks to 140 posts. It works in groups of four as so: 5,20 - 6,44 - 7,72 - 8,104 - 9,140. In other words, begin the cycle with a new bar for every 5 posts, in the first 20. Then every 6 posts until 44 total, then every 7 posts until 72 are reached, et cetera... through to 140 posts total. When you reach that, you get a new bird. When new members reach 140 posts, on the 141st they will get their first bird.

When you hit 4060, on your 4061st post you will get the next image we install, likely being the owl. At present, you remain on the last obtained image set.

IMHO, by 4000 posts you should be getting pretty damn wise to managing PTSD, having healed a lot of trauma and be well on your way to an easier daily life than when you began. If not... then you've done too much talking, not enough doing.

So it should work about right by my math based on healing progress and the time it would take to post that much. The owl being wiser doesn't say you're done, but just that you're wiser to the ways of PTSD healing.

How about: seeking, learning, changing, growing, practicing, achieving, mastering... and maybe, what, mentoring when you get to owl? Although that might imply too much for new people to look at someone like me and see "mentoring." Um... maybe "passing it on" would be better.

Or "living it out."
