Stress Induced Allergic Reactions

Venusian... from what I understand... many people are born with "latent" allergies... so particularly for women, when our hormones change, ones that may have been latent come to the fore. I'm a combination of both apparently... some undiagnosed food allergies, almost all molds (including antibiotics) and Celiac's/Sprue and then after a medically necessary hysterectomy... all of the sudden a whole host of foods, and environmental things.

Not too many years after my diagnosis and initial treatments for PTSD, BI-Polar and so on, I became allergic to wheat (gluten). I also have a rash on the inside of my arm that I have had since before my diagnosis, but it has been there since probably at least 20 yrs ago now (I am 58). I was not diagnosed until later in life because my hubby did not believe in going to specialists, so... I probably was PTSD, etc. when I first got the rash. My traumas are from very early childhood, starting at 6 months of age or so that I know of. However, I did not learn of them until I was around 35. The memories were all suppressed.
