Some of us are too timid to chat, but don't worry, you can just listen if you want. It is a great opportunity to get some good advise, seriously. I will be available as I can and I invite you all who are on either side wanting advise, company, or the willingness to provide as such. It has gone unused for too long, my friends who know me at least and those who are new, please use this resource. Thank you.

Every time I go there it seems to be empty, and one time it wasn't, so I jumped in, only to find that the one person who was there had just left! I shall try to check it more often.

There are chats scheduled too, check the Online Events Section! Then write it on your calendar so you don't miss it. There is one on Suicidal Ideation and Depression this weekend, 2 days in a row. Feb. 23rd and 24th. Check it out!

OK, I will make a concerted effort to check chat in the evenings EST.

I did many posts a year or too along these same lines. Chat is how I came to know some good, hopefully life long friends here. I know that sounds scary to some and that is not a prerequisite but chat can be a very valuable asset!

And like gamereign555 says, it's here and probably costing Anthony to keep it so we all should use it!

I use the chat room and find that you got to hang around for a little while. People drop in and out. There is also the time zone factor. It is nice to chat to others here. It is a timing thing also like rush hour traffic and also day of the week. But if you know someone set a time up for yourselves. I haven't had a problem with chat at all. Hope this is of some use. :) Might be just the time I log in ? ;) I am on usually a couple of times a week.

Faster responses and you don't have to wait for a while. But yes, I prefer forums though. I use chat for very limited time. otherwise finger gets in trouble(lots of fast typing). lol
