Support For Meeting Tomorrow

I really appreciate all of the support I have received here, especially regarding the issue at work that involves inappropriate sexual comments. Tomorrow morning at 8:30, my principal will be holding a meeting(at each grade level) to discuss professionalism in the workplace. My union president will also be there. I am sure it will go well but I would appreciate positive thoughts and support(thank you again for all of your previous ones). I bought a new poster for my classroom this year that reads: "Don't be afraid to stand up for what you believe in, even if you're standing alone." We'll, I know I am not standing alone...

The meeting went pretty well - thanks again everyone! I am heading to my therapist's office but will give you the complete update when I get home.

Sorry for the delay - my principal, vice principal and union president were all at the meeting and my principal addressed the sexual comments right up front and said they needed to stop. My union president said that this issue was going to be addressed at a district level and that after the meeting we were having, she trusted that the comments would stop. I was very pleased. Later on, while I was working in my room, a former parent came in to help me out and she(without me saying a word) brought up concerns she(as well as other parents) has about the level of professionalism(or lack of) she sees in the building. Wow. I had not realized that the parents were even upset.
So I am glad I spoke up.

I am not sure about that... I also contacted the EEOC because I would like to see district-wide sensitivity training.
