Anyone else had to have treatments for their trauma/abuse injuries?

I have had to undergo a number of surgeries to treat intimate problems due to sexual abuse. And it seems like one of the more serious issues is recurring and I'll probably need to go back to the specialist and have more surgery again. I only had surgery less than a year ago so it's really bothering me that the results weren't more permanent. I don't know if I can face the mental stress of this again, nevermind the physical toll it takes on me.

I never needed physical treatments like this, but I wanted to say I am thinking of you, and I am sad you're dealing with this. I imagine it can be re-traumatizing in an emotional sense, and I hope you are being so good and kind to yourself as you deal with this.

Two septoplasticy's from having my nose broken twice. Basically I couldn't breathe at all in one nostril, and almost not at all in the other. First time broken in childhood and my father basically grabbed my nose and mashed it back into shape and but a band aid on it. Second time broken was courtesy of the ex husband.

Learning how to breathe again correctly after the second septoplasticy was very tough. I had to have a rolfer bust up the scar tissue both times and it hurt like hell.
