I have to go get ready right now, husband and I are going to eat and then symphony! I am very excited but I've had a headache for a day now.

Husband and I just bought tickets for 3 more concerts. Haydn in March, Mozart in April and Brahms in May. I was shocked that my husband seemed so keen on going. He didn't argue or say 'we will think about it' or anything. He just helped me picked the dates and I didn't even have to ask.

He must have enjoyed himself last time. :D

I totally know what I am going to go do with the rest of my Christmas money. A cute outfit for the symphony. :)

This reminds me of something special I have planned coming up. I'm taking my boo to the Gershwin for a production of Wicked. I hope I am not thread-jacking here but I'd like to share a wonderful song from the show that will likely mean I need to bring tissues. :)

I had the funniest (though not at the time) experience with Wicked. I bought excellent seats on Ebay, took my husband for a special event, and got escorted out of those good seats about 20 minutes into the performance. I had been scammed, my tickets were fraudulent! The manager must have known it was unintentional, I could hardly keep from crying at the time, I was so shocked, she offered to re-seat us in the balcony, but I didn't have the heart to sit there a minute longer, it was embarrassing too, so we called it a night. I'm not a fan of Wicked anymore, ha. Fortunately, I hadn't been too taken by the first part of the first act anyhow.

Wow, Leah, that must have been so hard. I would have just wanted to leave as well, I don't blame you one bit. I'm really sorry to hear about that.

When I booked my tickets, I went through the Gershwin's website and it led me to Ticketmaster. It was expensive - They are front row, center - but I have heard stories ike yours before and it was why I saved up a little extra to go through the web site.

That is terrible what happened to you, again I am sorry. :( I don't know why people feel it is okay to scam others instead of manning up and making a good day's wage out of their own abilities. I hate it when I hear stories of people being taken advantage of. :(

Tomorrow we are going to the symphony. Hyden and Strauss. There are two others as well that I haven't heard of or bother with. Hyden and Strauss, two highly popular German composers 200 years apart. It will be interesting to hear the differences in style.
