Due to recent legal changes with COPPA (Jul 01, 2013) and associated laws catching up for those 13 years of age and older posting online, MyPTSD now finds it acceptable to allow access to anyone 13 years and over for online mental health discussion.
Nothing has changed in relation to rules, which means anyone 13 years of age, or older, must comply with our basic grammar policy and other rules for mature discussion.
As a result of this change, a simplified section has been added to the terms of use at the beginning of the document, outlining in simple speak what you're accepting by reading or participating at MyPTSD. The name change has also been reflected.
