The time spent in therapy has been challenging to say the least. Probably worse when my parts come out. But, the days after aren't so kind physically and mentally. It's especially hard on the younger ones because of the guilt and shame. They just need extra reassurance or to make sense of reality. The unfortunate part is I try and reach out to my T but understandably, she's busy. What do others do to fill the void/confusion and everything else??

I journal. Or email my T, but spend time writing and rewriting and revising until it's something I feel ok sending her. So it's boiled down to the most important stuff. And helps me work through what I'm thinking and feeling in the mean time. Then I try to put it all in a container and pay attention to current life if I can. I don't want to miss my life while I'm processing and trying to recover from T sessions.
