The movie wonder

Has anyone gone to see this movie yet? I saw it tonight and I loved it. It really brought my struggle through ptsd to a new light. We all have our battles that we struggle through and we are all in this life together. So if someone is trying to help, let them in. Most of all be kind and be kind to yourself.

My daughter walked out of the movie with me and said,”I think that all of humanity should be required to see this film.” I agree. It was beautiful. I scolded my friend that there is a dog in the movie. All movies with dog’s make me cry. Lol. Also, I teach a student with a similar looking facial deformity. He is intellectually normal, but some kids at the high school assume he is “special.” His speech is hard to understand at times. I was so touched by this movie and kept imagining my student living this. The movie also made me think a lot about friendship conflicts and forgiveness. The people in the movie made it seem easier to forgive than I find it to be.
