Throwing the lifeguards phone it the pool! I LOVE it! I think you and I must have similar personalities.
My students are obsessed with their phones. The funny thing is they try to be all sneaky about it. But, as I tell them, when the lights are dimmed so that we can use the projector and I see glowing crotches, then I know that either they have an really unusual STD or they are looking at their phones. Seriously, no one looks at their crotch that much and smiles!
Luckily, no one ever calls or texts me except family members or doctor's offices, so I'm on this one just about as much as my flip phone with the added benefit that I can check news headlines and Face Book and what not.
